Enters, Pink Gorilla the design Jedi into their store, pleased with their friendly treatment, delcious drinks and fun vibe. But as I checked their website it was like someone hit them with deathstar.
We went on a mission to rescue them. The mission was clear to Make the wesbite easy to use, fun to interact with, still serve the order ahead feature, and make it wow, so noboy forgets them when they leave the website, prompt to come back to the website the very next day. And the good news is We Did it.
There were certain features and informations client wanted to have on their website and mobile application. ‘Order Ahead’ feature. This would allow people to make order before reaching the shop, and when they reach they just need to pickup their order.
The client didn’t had much to demand, so we did our research. So let’s jump to our process
We didn’t just sit behind screens. We parked ourselves right at Mojo’s, sipped on a Sea Monster, and watched the menu, the service, and the customers while jotting down a series of questions. We also hopped into the Millennium Falcon… okay, okay, we mean Zoom and Yelp reviews.
Teens, college kids, young adults, and some cool elders.
Funky-named drinks like Abba Zaba and Purple Dragon. A super-friendly crew at the window. And drive-thru lanes faster than the Kessel Run.
The website is bad.
They have to wait in a queue while the rest of the world travels at lightspeed.
And people don’t know about all the wild menu options until they roll up.
After sipping lattes and watching customers zip through Mojo’s lanes, we knew one thing: the website couldn’t be boring. It had to feel like the drinks—bold, playful, and unforgettable. So, here’s the game plan we rolled out:
We designed a homepage that showcases all drinks and products with bold, quirky visuals.
On the header, we added a rotating coffee cup with Mojo’s branding—because why not make it fun?
Mojo’s vibe is friendly and retro-fun, not corporate. We used vibrant colors, playful product cards, and 3D coffee graphics to match the energy of the drinks.
We added an “order ahead” feature to make grabbing coffee faster and easier.
We also created a dedicated Download Our App section, so when the app launches, the website is already set to drive traffic.
Plus, we built a Menu page so people can easily browse and buy the coffee they crave.
Customers kept mentioning friendly staff and positive vibes in their reviews. To bring that same warmth online, we added a testimonial section filled with real customer love.
We didn’t want Mojo’s website to just sit there—we wanted it to move like the energy of their drinks. So, we added:
But the journey wasn’t all smooth. We had our share of trial and error. For the hero animation, we didn’t just magically get a perfect 3D coffee cup. We used our lightsaber… I mean Runway ML
We started with a simple stock cup from Shutterstock. Before handing it over to our 3D modeller, we first experimented in Runway ML—wrapping Mojo’s branding on the cup and running prompts to rotate it.
Many failed renders later…and lots of caffeine, we knew it was time to polish things up.
Mojo’s drinks are wild on taste but the photos? Meh… they looked like they were taken on a Nokia 3310. So we called in AI like our backstage stylist. Backgrounds got cleaned, colors got juiced up, and suddenly every drink looked like it was ready for a magazine cover.
Now the Purple Dragon actually pops like a dragon, and the Abba Zaba looks as legendary as it tastes. In short: AI gave Mojo’s menu a glow-up that turns casual scrollers into “shut up and take my money” customers.
At one point, we thought- hey, what if every signature drink had its own mascot? Abba Zaba got a candy hero, Sea Monster turned into a cute chubby monster, and Purple Dragon showed up as a baby dragon.
Cool idea, right? Well… not really. It looked fun, but it didn’t add much value to the website, and honestly, the effort was beyond the project budget.
So, we scrapped the mascots and kept the focus where it belongs: the drinks themselves.

We translated the bold, playful UI into clean, responsive code. Using React + TailwindCSS, we built vibrant product cards, rotating 3D coffee cups, and smooth micro-interactions that made the website feel alive on any screen.
Our backend team engineered the core with Node.js + MongoDB, ensuring flexibility as Mojo expands locations. The system manages menus, product variations, orders, and customer data without a hiccup.
